With a 37" heavily polished barrel this Musket has been completely cleaned showing all the steel polished brightly. This lock is faintly dated 851 for 1851, along with an Austro Hungarian Empire Eagle proof on the lock plate tail. Markings on the lock indiciate that at one point it definitely had a flash pan and frizzen, so this was converted from Flintlock to Percussion for the export market. The breech of the
