The Roman occupation left behind many beautiful objects and these are the inspiration for my series of "Roman" rings. This ring is made from a piece of quartz interspersed with black tourmaline. I bought these stones from a nunnery that was liquidating its goldsmith workshop. What for a treasure trove! I
